Had a busy weekend full of good things.  I did some volunteer work for my favorite non-profit, The Coalition to Unchain Dogs.  Travelled from the Bull City, Durham all the way to Raleigh.  Yeah, it’s the next town over, but worlds apart.  We manned a booth for the Coalition at the Puppy Mill Awarness Day.  We met Victoria Stilwell and begged her to come to our house.  She said we’d have to convince Animal Planet first.   After the event we hit a new-to-us restaraunt that had super fabulous vegetarian food – well, everything except the gazpacho was fabulous.  I had the Tempeh Tantrum sandwich and Holly had the mock-chicken parm sub. Awesome!

Each night this weekend I slept with two sweet doggies.  Rascal and Maggie are great and favorite clients of mine at Bull City Pet Sitting, www.bullcitypetsitting.com

Sunday was all about family and watching dogs, Mom and a kid have a great time.

So here I am, 37 years old, and I have never had a blog. Truthfully, the only reason that I do now have a blog is to promote my brand new business, Bull City Pet Sitting in Durham, NC. I have been a professional pet sitter for 5 years and dogs and cats are my lifes work. I hope to talk about my work, my vegetable garden and maybe my partner’s and I’s struggles with starting a family. For now though, it’s 3:42am and I should try going back to sleep.
